Our independent general practitioners provide comprehensive children’s healthcare for families in Cameron Park and surrounding Newcastle areas, supporting patients from infancy through to adolescence. Care is delivered in accordance with clinical guidelines and tailored to each child’s age, health needs, and developmental stage.
Our doctors manage and support:
- Common childhood illnesses and infections
- Growth monitoring and developmental milestone assessments
- NSW Personal Health Record (“Blue Book”) health checks
- Nutrition advice and healthy lifestyle guidance
- Ongoing care for chronic childhood conditions, including asthma, eczema, and allergies
- Assessment of behavioural and developmental concerns, such as attention, anxiety, speech, or learning difficulties, with referrals to allied health providers when clinically appropriate
Kids Health Checks (NSW Blue Book Assessments)
Age-appropriate health checks are offered in line with the NSW Personal Health Record schedule to support early identification of health and developmental concerns.

6 Month Check and Immunisation

Review of physical and developmental milestones

Ongoing growth and behavioural observation
2 Year Check
Development, communication, and motor skills review
3 Year Check
Early learning and social development assessment
4 Year Check including Healthy Kids Check and Immunisation
School readiness and overall health review
Healthy Kids Check
The Healthy Kids Check is a structured health assessment designed to review a child’s general health and development at key stages.
Assessments may include:
- Physical growth and general fitness
- Vision and hearing screening where appropriate
- Oral health review
- Developmental, emotional, and social wellbeing assessment
Developmental and Behavioural Assessments
Where concerns are identified, our doctors may conduct further assessments and provide guidance or referrals as clinically indicated.
Assessments may include:
- Developmental screening across cognitive, emotional, and social domains
- Assessment of behavioural or learning concerns, such as attention difficulties or anxiety
- Referral to appropriate allied health or specialist services when required
